I originally bought this two years ago and sold it to a fellow guitar player who has been enjoying it and gigging with it. When I purchased it the guitar had the wrong pick guard and a hum bucking route in the neck position. I was able to find an original pick guard only 60 miles away. The current pickup in this guitar is a circa 1953 Fender lap steel pickup converted for guitar. That is very much like the pickup found in a 1953 Telecaster or Esquire. This guitar has also been re fretted with larger frets and I can see some shadows in the finish from old decals that once resided. The neck has a  lot of birds eye in the grain and a lot of finish wear.
